Growth sprint: funnel teardown and experiment backlog
Four weeks, one bottleneck, a backlog of 24 hypotheses — prioritised, not collected.
Labelled as “ViralBP Lab”. This piece shows how ViralBP thinks and works. It is not a client reference and contains no result figures.
"The problem wasn't traffic. It sat between signup and first success."
Situation
An app product with working acquisition and weak activation. Installs grew, usage did not. Without clean events every explanation was a guess.
Idea & strategy
Measure first, then test. AARRR mapping, event setup, cohort view — then pick a single bottleneck and stay there for four weeks.
Hypotheses
24 hypotheses prioritised by ICE. The top is not the expensive product ideas but onboarding reduction, timing of the first prompt and clarity of the first task.
Experiments
Two experiments a week with a success criterion set in advance. Tests that move nothing are documented too — they rule explanations out.
Measurement & learnings
Judged on activation rate per cohort, not total numbers. Curves shown on this page are illustrative.
Transferability
The sprint is repeatable as a format: audit, backlog, cadence, scaling. It transfers to shops and lead funnels.
