Product seeding
In short
Seeding means giving product to creators with no obligation to post. It works when selection, packaging and occasion are right, and fails when parcels are shipped by follower count. ViralBP runs selection, occasion, follow-up and analysis.
Seeding works under three conditions
The parcel has to be an event, not a shipment.
- The creator would have bought the product anyway
- The parcel gives a reason to film it
- There is a follow-up path for those who post
What we measure
Seeding is not a channel, it is a run-up. We assess post rate, content quality and whether assets can be extended as ads.
- Post rate per batch
- Share of usable assets
- Follow-up conversions from codes or links
How we work together
Six steps, each with an approval point. You always know what happens next.
- 01StrategyGoal, audience, metric. What should be different afterwards?
- 02IdeaAngle and mechanic. The reason someone looks.
- 03CastingCreators by niche, audience fit, engagement quality, content skill.
- 04ProductionBrief, shoot, edit, variants, approval, rights.
- 05LaunchOrganic plus amplification. Whitelisting, Spark Ads, paid.
- 06Testing & scalingAnalysis, learnings, next wave. Scale the winners.
What we need for an offer
The more precise these points, the more reliable the first offer. Anything missing we clarify in conversation.
- Campaign goal and the metric that should improve afterwards
- Product, reasons to buy and target audience
- Timeframe or launch date
- Budget range for creator fees and, if relevant, media
- Relevant channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
- Usage rights needed: organic only or also as ads, and for how long
- Learnings from previous collaborations, if any
FAQ
Does seeding require ad disclosure?
Usually yes. If a product is provided free and posted about, that is commercial communication and must be disclosed — even without a fee.
